Arra Vets in Tipperary was established in 2007. We care about only two things; you and your pet. Our goal is simply to provide the highest standard of care for our patients and to deliver that care in a personal and friendly environment where our clients are given the time and understanding they deserve. Meet our team members below;

Milo
CEO
Introducing Milo, our Chief Executive officer. He oversees the running of the whole clinic.
He is always on standby as part of the welcoming committee, a special welcome for the poor postman.
The clinic would not run smoothly without this dude!

Mairéad Leahy
Vet / Managing Director
Mairead qualified from UCD in 2012 and went straight into mixed practice work in Clare. She returned to her native Tipperary and began working in Arra Veterinary Clinic in 2015. Mairéad is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and has a keen interest in making sure all pets are pain-free. A special area of interest for Mairéad is senior pet care.
Mairéad is an Elite Fear Free professional and understands that a patient’s mental well-being is as important as their physical well-being. Arra Vets has been designed by her based on the idea of reducing fear, anxiety and stress in her patients.
When Mairead isn’t busy in the clinic minding sick patients or doing lots of paperwork she loves spending time with her family and her horse Rolo.

Laura Keyes
Veterinary Nurse
Laura qualified from UCD in 2019 and has worked in busy small animal practices all down the east coast. She joined us at Arra shortly after moving from her native county Wicklow in 2021
Laura is Fear Free Certified and loves all animals from big to small but has a particular soft spot for cats and rabbits. She has a keen interest in dentistry and diagnostics.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys hiking, playing music and spending quality time with her cat, Bjorn (she is a big ABBA fan)

Georgia Drinan

Needing a Career change Georgia joined us in 2018 as a Dog Groomer and is now working towards gaining my qualifications as a veterinary nurse which has always been a dream of hers.
On the weekends Georgia loves hiking with her dog Margot.
